The Business Growth, Attraction, and Retention Committee (BGAR) is established to drive the expansion, sustainability, and market positioning of Black-owned businesses within supported industries. Aligned with EDABC’s mission to connect, convene, and catalyze resources for inclusive economic growth, this committee plays a critical role in advancing business development as a core pillar of equitable economic opportunity.

Through the defined pillars, BGAR contributes directly to EDABC’s vision of removing systemic barriers, building regional competitiveness, and ensuring that Black communities are positioned to prosper, grow, and thrive in the evolving economy.
