The Workforce Development Committee (WDC) is dedicated to fostering equitable access to employment opportunities, skill development, and career advancement for Black workers and entrepreneurs. In alignment with EDABC’s mission to connect, convene, and catalyze people, resources, and opportunities for inclusive economic growth, this committee plays a central role in advancing talent development as a key pillar of regional prosperity.

Through the defined pillars, the committee supports EDABC’s broader vision of removing systemic barriers and ensuring Black communities are positioned to prosper, grow, and thrive in a rapidly evolving economy.
