Jice Johnson is a proud mother, U.S. Army veteran, and award-winning businesswoman committed to economic empowerment, leadership development, and personal transformation. A passionate advocate for Black entrepreneurship and equity, she also helps leaders of all backgrounds align their lives with their values, master work-life integration, and shift their mindset for success.

Recognized by Denver Business Journal, Urban Leadership Foundation, and Colorado Black Women for Political Action, Jice is a thought leader in business, leadership, and equity. Since founding the Black Business Initiative (BBI) in 2015, her work has expanded to include the AYA Foundation, the EDA for Black Communities, and co-founding Denver’s first Black, woman-led venture fund. Through her consultancy, By Design, she helps leaders and entrepreneurs achieve clarity, confidence, and sustainable success.
